This course outlines Essential 2 in the series of research-supported instructional practices designed to have a positive impact on literacy development for Pre-K. Essential 2 focuses on effective use of read-alouds in literacy instruction.You will also become familiar with the current state of early literacy performance as well as research and methods that uphold this essential. This course is part of the Essential Instructional Practices in Early Literacy, Pre-K series.
