Mike serves as Co-Chair of the Michigan Statewide AI Taskforce Instruction & Assessment Subcommittee and is a member of the National Council for Measurement in Education (NCME) Classroom Assessment Committee, contributing to national conversations on AI, instruction, and assessment in K-12 education. A published author and internationally recognized collaborator, Mike’s work focuses on equitable instruction and assessment practices for multilingual learners, as well as practical and ethical approaches to AI implementation in schools.
