PTL: Path to Leadership Application
Applications for Cohort 55 are due by Monday, November 2, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
Our goal is to provide candidates with an alternative route to earning a K-12 administrator certificate at an affordable cost and in a manageable time frame through a program developed by principals, for principals. The program’s high-quality coursework is built on the Michigan Standards for the Preparation of School Principals, the Michigan School Improvement Framework and the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISSLC) and presented in an online format that will include mentoring and the building of a professional portfolio. A pre-test for placement and an end-of-program assessment will be administered by the internationally recognized and respected testing organization ETS.
Once the application has been purchased there is a process to complete in order to be considered for acceptance to the PTL program. The directions for completing the application can be found in the Program Guide. A link to download the guide can be found on the Path to Leadership website.
