This webinar series will focus on the history of the Civil Rights Movement. The presenter will discuss how the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s sought to break down racial barriers to equal opportunity, desegregate society, and eliminate negative implications of racial distinctions.
In this course, you will:
- Define the main catalysts that shaped the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement.
- Analyze the consequences of the Jim Crow era, including its effects on modern society.
- Analyze factors that led to the development of the Black Power Movement.
