Lansing New Tech is a pitch competition and community for tech startups in mid-Michigan. They host quarterly pitch competitions and meetups throughout the year. The first event was held in December 2023 at UrbanBeat in Old Town. There were 50 to 60 attendees, comprised of entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, and startup enthusiasts from around the state. Each event showcases up to 5 people with business ideas who have 5 minutes to pitch in front of a panel of judges. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize.
