MI Educators AI-Ready: Exploring the AI and Media Literacy Collections

This asynchronous, self-paced course introduces Michigan educators to the AI and Media Literacy Professional Learning Collections on GoOpen Michigan. Participants will explore vetted resources on artificial intelligence literacy, media literacy, and information literacy, then reflect on how these resources might support their classroom, school, or district. The course includes guided exploration, a discussion activity, and a brief knowledge check, and offers 1 SCECH upon completion.

In this course, you will:

• Recognize the purpose of the Michigan AI and Media Literacy Professional Learning Collections.
• Locate artificial intelligence and media literacy resources on GoOpen Michigan.
• Identify resources that align with your role, instructional context, or professional learning goals.
• Consider how selected resources could support educator practice, student learning, or local planning.
