About This Course
Digital accessibility can seem daunting and maybe even a bit overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! This course makes accessibility simple and engaging. You’ll follow the story of Ms. Kenton, a teacher on a journey to improve accessibility for her students. Whether you teach in a physical classroom or an online one, you’ll discover practical steps you can take as an educator to make your digital materials more accessible for all of your students. The course also includes two pre-planned, customizable activities you can use right away to help your students understand digital accessibility.
In this course, you will:
- Develop an understanding of digital accessibility and what it means for you and your students.
- Make tables, images, hyperlinks, lists, and other document and slide presentation elements more accessible.
- Use automated accessibility checkers to verify that documents and slide presentations are accessible.
- Discover ways to export accessible PDFs.
