Hype, Hope, and Hard Choices: Is AI Bad for the Environment?
Michigan Virtual AI Lab AI Ambassadors, educators in the field, have created this webinar series for myth detection regarding common concerns with AI. Artificial intelligence is shaping decisions across Michigan schools, often in response to strong and sometimes conflicting claims. Environmental impact, academic integrity, and student thinking are among the factors users are being asked to consider. Across the thought-provoking series, we examine what current research supports, where legitimate trade-offs exist, and how those realities apply in Michigan schools.
