About This Course

This ASVAB Prep Course prepares students for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, whether pursuing military enlistment or exploring military career options. Content covers English Language Arts, Mathematics, Auto Shop, Mechanical and Electronics information, and General Science. All students begin with introductory units covering ASVAB overview, diagnostic assessments, and study strategies. All students then complete four required units aligned to the Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) for all branches (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard) and for Clerical and General Technician MOS qualification: Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning, and Mathematics Knowledge. Students then pursue a personalized study path based on their intended branch and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), communicated to their instructor for placement into a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 additional units based on personal ASVAB goals.
