Michigan Virtual partnered with Spelling Safari to explore an adaptive spelling platform that personalizes practice for K–5 students while giving teachers actionable insights into student progress. The pilot examined how standards-aligned, individualized spelling activities could support classroom instruction across a variety of learning settings.

In partnership with Topia, Michigan Virtual invited middle school classrooms to experience an interactive SchoolSpace environment built around our Thinking and Drawing Like an Artist enrichment course. The pilot explored how immersive digital spaces can foster creativity, collaboration, and student engagement while giving students an opportunity to help shape the future of learning.

Michigan Virtual partnered with Shoelace Learning to study how game-based reading experiences could improve literacy growth and student engagement. Across 13 Michigan classrooms, researchers examined student outcomes, teacher perceptions, and implementation practices to better understand the role of gamified learning in elementary literacy instruction.

Michigan Virtual partnered with Transfr to bring immersive virtual reality career exploration into Michigan classrooms. Students experienced hands-on simulations across high-demand career fields, allowing them to explore professions such as healthcare, skilled trades, and technology while helping educators evaluate the impact of VR as a career readiness tool.

Michigan Virtual partnered with Khanmigo to pilot AI-supported tutoring and instructional assistance for educators and students. The initiative explored how AI could provide personalized academic support while complementing classroom instruction and helping students build mastery across core subjects.
