Michigan Virtual offers over 400 professional development courses that can be bundled into thematic pathways that meet the needs of your school or district’s improvement plan. These pathways are entirely customizable. Our professional learning specialists will help you design a plan tailored to the needs of your educators. You can pick just one class or several with both free and affordable options, as well as online and face-to-face trainings and events.

Meet Cassie

Meet Cassie

Cassandra takes pride in making others feel welcome and important. Her work is an example of this. Currently, Cassandra, or Cassie as she is known around the office, serves as the professional learning community coordinator. In this role, she strives to ensure that educational professionals and partners feel connected and in-the-know when it comes to Michigan Virtual’s Professional Learning Services.

Meet Kelli

Meet Kelli

Kelli is a blended learning coach for Michigan Virtual. She works with K-12 educators to help them personalize learning for students. Before joining Michigan Virtual, Kelli spent 19 years teaching students and coaching teachers at the elementary level. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Oakland University and a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education from Gannon University. Kelli also enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, playing volleyball and running.

Meet Jamie

Meet Jamie

Jamie DeWitt works in collaboration with educators throughout Michigan, building high-quality online and blended professional learning experiences as Director of Blended Professional Learning. She advocates for equity in education for each and every child. She lives life to the fullest, eating delicious food and living a cliche CrossFit lifestyle.
