TBAISD: Introduction to Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
Introduction to Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
NOTE: This course is for approved participants only.
This course will help teachers understand the what, why, and how of using “high quality’ Student Learning Objectives (SLOs). SLOs can be used as part of a teachers annual goal setting process and used as a measure for evaluation purposes.
SLOs are one means to measure a teacher’s impact on student learning within a given interval of instruction. SLOs are also a measurable, long-term academic goal (with growth targets), informed by available data, that is established by teacher or a collaborative team at the beginning of the instructional interval for all students or for subgroups of students.
