MEMSPA: Understanding Your Title IV, Part A Program

If your school or educational agency is eligible to receive Title IV, Part A funds, you will need to understand the program and its intended purpose of increasing student achievement. In this micro-credential, you, as a school leader, will determine how Title IV, Part A funding can be used to support your school programs. You will become more familiar with your schools Title IV, Part A program and provide evidence that your programs support the well-rounded child, safe and healthy children, and technology engagement for staff and children.

In this course, you will:

  • Demonstrate the intended use and allowability of applicable Title IV, Part A funds,
  • Review and identify Title IV, Part A activities within your district improvement plan and how they are sustained and ongoing,
  • Establish and/or enhance the Title IV, Part A planning processes for replication annually, and
  • Provide the evidence to earn your “Understanding Your Title IV, Part A” micro-credential.
