Title I, Part A is a federally funded program that can provide financial assistance to schools with a high number of students or a high percentage of students from low income families. This microcredential course will aid you in understanding what Title I, Part A funds can be used for and how to develop and maintain a program at your institution. You will work through topics including how to demonstrate intended use of targeted or school-wide funds, how to align each component of the program with your school improvement plan, and how to establish Title I, part A replication annually.
In this course, you will:
- Demonstrate the intended use and allowability of applicable Title I, Part A targeted or schoolwide funds.
- Review and align each component required for Title I, Part A schools with your school improvement plan,
- Establish and/or enhance your Title I, Part A planning process for replication annually, and
- Provide the evidence to earn your “Understanding Your Title I” micro-credential.
