Utilizing restorative practices can help students and staff turn unwanted behavior into positive interactions and progress. This topical course will allow you to explore what restorative practices are and how to apply them to adult/student relationships when handling adolescent behavior. You will identify the physiological, emotional, and psychological needs of students, recognize shame triggers and responses, discuss the steps of the circle process, and review serious infractions and the removal process.
