Review Student Logs

Intended Audience: Mentors, Affiliation Users

Information:

This procedure explains how a mentor or affiliation user can retrieve information on course enrollment and drops, including the corresponding dates, by accessing the Student Logs within the Student Learning Portal (SLP).

A mentor or affiliation user may need to know who enrolled or dropped from a course and when. This process describes how to access the Student Logs in the Student Learning Portal (SLP) to obtain this information.

Details:

  1. First, tap the Students tab in the top menu bar to see students you can view.
  2. Next, click the linked name in the “Student” column.
The Active Student page is displaying a table containing a list of active students within their affiliation. An arrow points to the linked name in the Student column.
  3. At this time, the Main Page will be displayed showing sectioned information pertaining to the student you have selected.
  4. Then select the Student Log option from the left navigation menu.
  5. As a result, the system records will be displayed in a table which will contain the timestamp, the user who performed the activity followed by the description of the activity.
The Student Log page shows two sections, search criteria, which contains two drop-down fields, period and type, and a Get Data button. An arrow points to the Get Data button. Below is a table containing the records associated with the students activities in the Student Learning Portal.
