PLP: Safety Skills Quick Troubleshooting Guide

Introduction:

This document provides a quick troubleshooting guide for Professional Development (PD) Coordinators in reference to the Safety Skills Compliance course.

Details:

  1. Logging In
    1. First, access the Professional Learning Portal website.
    2. Then enter your login credentials and select the Login button.
      Note: If needed click the “Forgot your Login and/or Password?” link on the login screen to recover login credentials.
  2. Technical Issues
    1. For technical issues such as courses freezing, no audio and matching questions not working properly, refer to Technical Requirements – For IT School Contact document.
    2. Unresolved issues can be corrected by clearing browser cache. Press both CTRL + F5 buttons simultaneously.
    3. Ensure the web browser is up to date and JavaScript and cookies are enabled.
    4. Refer to the Safety Skills Minimum and Recommended Technical Requirements page.
  3. Course Completion Issues
    1. Learners must reach the last screen of the course in order for the course to record as complete in our systems.
    2. Learners can check to see if their completion recorded by clicking on “Course Links” from the top of the screen and then “Grades” while in their course. They should see 100/100 for their grade.
    1. Missing Course Certificates
      1. It takes up to 1 hour after the successful completion of a course for the completion to generate on the learner’s dashboard with a certificate of completion. 
        Learners mush login to access their certificate(s).
  4. Login and Navigation Issues
    1. The Customer Care Center is here to help and can be reached by submitting a ticket.
