Blackboard: Save a Pages Document as a Microsoft Word File

Introduction:

Pages is a MAC word processor that lets you create documents. To submit these pages in Blackboard, they must be converted to a Microsoft Word file. This document describes how to save a Pages document as a Word file.

Details:

  1. First, tap the File menu in the Menu Bar.
  2. Next, choose Export To and then Word from the sub-menu.
    The File menu in pages is shown with “Export to” and “Word” options highlighted. An arrow points to the Word option.
  3. As this point, the Export Your Document dialog box appears.
  4. Next, tap the Next button.
    The Export Your Document dialog box is shown with an arrow pointing to the Next button at the bottom.
  5. Finally, name your document and click Export to save it.
    The Save as dialog box is shown with an arrow pointed to the highlighted Export button at the bottom of the box.
